Is TikSave free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no subscription, no hidden fees.
Does it actually remove the watermark?
Yes. TikSave downloads the original source file, not the watermarked version TikTok serves through its app. The result is a clean video with no TikTok logo or username overlay.
What formats can I download?
HD video (MP4), SD video (MP4), and audio-only (MP3). The HD option fetches the highest resolution version available for that video.
Why isn't the HD button working for some videos?
Not all TikTok videos have a separate HD version available. When that's the case, the HD button will fall back to the standard quality download automatically.
Can I download private videos?
No. TikSave can only download publicly accessible videos. Private videos require authentication that we don't have access to.
Does TikSave store my videos?
No. We don't store, cache, or log any videos. The download goes directly from TikTok's servers to your device via TikSave's proxy. Nothing is kept on our end.
How do I get the TikTok link?
On the TikTok app, open the video, tap the Share button, then tap Copy Link. On desktop, copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
